Individuals with mental health risk factors or mental disease are most commonly affected by COVID-19 confinement measures and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The research question below aims to measure changes in population mental health associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Research question: Has there been any increase in individuals with mental health risk factors or mental disease, as a consequence of the COVID19 crisis? This case study will measure changes in population mental health associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Cohort: Any patient 18 years old or older with a contact with the healthcare system between 2017-01-01 until 2020-12-31 due to a mental health condition (i.e. with a diagnosis of major depressive disorder, Other depresive disorders, or Anxiety).
  • Countries involved: Austria, Croatia, Finland, Romania, Spain (IACS), Wales (UK)

PHIRI DOCKER APPLICATION

In 13 data hubs, the PHIRI App Docker is already deployed and tested (December 2022). However, there are some other countries or institutions that have also downloaded and deployed the Docker outside of the PHIRI project.
