This workshop aims to gather and present experiences, lessons learned and good practices on infodemic management during the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe.

After a brief introduction of the projects UnCoVer and PHIRI, experts with different backgrounds (from masters of big data to journalists) will present key contemporary topics where communicating science to the general public is essential but not an easy task.

Through the Foresight Capacity Building course, we aim to develop and provide foresight capacity for all European Member States.

In this Seminar/Webinar, we will unveil some initial estimates of the burden of COVID-19 at population level. We will also zoom in on post COVID conditions, which constitute a significant, but to date highly uncertain, contribution to the overall COVID-19 disease burden.
