Health information strategy

National Strategy of Health 2021-2030  (https://konsultimipublik.gov.al/Konsultime/Detaje/434)                            The National Health Strategy, 2021-2030, is a political document of the Albanian government that aims to define and achieve the objectives of the program for the protection and improvement of the health of the Albanian population. Main players (institutions)

Ministry of Health and Social Protection: The Ministry of Health and Social Protection main mission is the drafting and implementiation of policies and development strategies in the health care sector. Additionally, the Ministry is responsible for regulating health care services and coordinating work between all actors, inside and outside the care system health workers, who contribute and aim to guarantee the constitutional right, defined in Article 55 of the Constitution of the Republic of Albania. Its mission is also to guarantee constitutional rights for protection and social inclusion and social care and equal opportunities.                                                         

The National Agency for Drugs and Medical Devices: It is an institution under the Ministry of Health, specializing in the analysis, registration, control of drugs and inspection of activities in the pharmaceutical field.                                                               

Institute of Public Health: It's mission is the development and application of prevention and control of diseases, injuries, disabilities, environmental health detrimental factors, and the development and application of health promotion, in close cooperation with national and international agencies / organizations.
