This research is funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC). Controlling COVID19 through enhanced population surveillance and intervention (Con-COV) : a platform approach. In Wales a specialist research team made up of representatives from; Welsh Government, Public Health Wales, academia, and the public have come together to develop a project which will rapidly analyse data from numerous sectors including primary and secondary care.

This research is part of the Data and Connectivity National Core Study, led by Health Data Research UK in partnership with the Office for National Statistics and funded by UK Research and Innovation. This research will look at how safe the COVID-19 vaccines are and how well they work in the general population. It will also look at how many people take up the vaccine when they are offered it.

This research is part of the BHF Data Science Centre is a partnership between Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) and the British Heart Foundation (BHF). CVD-COVID-UK aims to understand the relationship between COVID-19 and cardiovascular diseases such as heart attack, heart failure, stroke, and blood clots in the lungs through analyses of de-identified, linked, nationally collated healthcare datasets across the four nations of the UK.
