WHO/Europe and the University of Bordeaux are collaborating on the second edition of the European Public Health Leadership Course, aimed at enhancing the leadership skills of public health professionals. Developed in partnership with the University of Bordeaux's School of Public Health, the graduate program on Digital Public Health, and research institutes from France and the Netherlands, this course is inspired by the WHO European Programme of Work 2020–2025. It focuses on leaving no one behind in public health efforts. In 2022, they introduced the inaugural course in collaboration with the Italian National Institute of Health, and this year's edition, scheduled from November 13 to November 24, 2023, will combine virtual and in-person components in Bordeaux, France. An online platform will facilitate access to course materials and discussions, featuring a diverse range of public health experts to provide insights and tools for advancing the public health agenda.
