The WHO European Office for the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases, in collaboration with Université Côte d’Azur, Ulysseus European University, Queen’s University Belfast, and York University, is hosting a 3-day summer school course focused on navigating systems thinking and systems-based approaches from theory to practice. This course aims to provide valuable insights into how these approaches can foster consensus among diverse stakeholders and enhance multisectoral collaboration within complex systems. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of systems thinking, learn to apply systems-based approaches to facilitate multisectoral collaboration, identify recurring patterns in complex systems and strategies to address them, and develop skills to translate research into effective policies and strategies.
