All training content is practice-oriented and is aimed at identifying and implementing the appropriate measures for the prevention and control of infectious diseases in the specific case. The main topics are the investigation of infection outbreaks in cooperation with the competent authorities of the ÖGD, the evaluation of data from infection epidemiological surveillance, the evaluation of surveillance systems, and the development and implementation of application-related infection epidemiological research projects.
