Description
"With the COVID-19 Pandemic, there was an increase in the number and scope of public health status research activities by various stakeholders (public health agencies, academics, patient-led research groups, and other interested parties). However, lack of consensus on clinical case definition and limited understanding of clinical characterization during the recovery period and associated pathophysiology have limited diagnosis, treatment, and management progress.
On February 9th 2021, a first webinar entitled ""Expanding our understanding of Post COVID-19 condition"" was held and over 5 hours, 3 sessions were organized:
Session 1 - Post-COVID-19 condition: scenario and lessons learned
Session 2 - Observations on Post COVID-19 condition: what we know
Session 3 - Working groups to develop clinical case definition and research gaps/methods."
