Communities play a critical role in the onset and resolution of epidemics and pandemics. By proactively identifying and addressing health threats at the community level, the spread of pandemics can be averted. Equipping communities with the necessary knowledge and resources for prevention, detection, and response is pivotal in this process. Collaborating closely with communities to develop preventive measures and early interventions using the One Health approach is crucial for averting future epidemics and pandemics. The webinar will showcase insights from community members, civil society organizations, and academia, focusing on ongoing initiatives and opportunities to bolster the implementation of One Health at the community level, ultimately aiming to prevent future epidemics and pandemics.
