Description
Following the rapid development of effective COVID-19 vaccines, countries are now facing the challenge of rapidly rolling out vaccination programmes to immunize the population and restore as much of normal life as quickly as possible. The example of Israel is often presented as a model for the early launch of COVID-19 vaccines. This webinar focuses on understanding what specific factors contributed to this early success and the contribution of existing infrastructure, organisational capabilities and the health workforce. It also discusses what are the lessons and long-term concerns of how other countries could use this experience in rapidly scaling up their immunisation programmes.
