    The register of infectious diseases is a national database established on the basis of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act. The register is kept for the purpose of registering infectious disease cases, conducting epidemiological studies of infectious diseases, clarifying the trends in the spread of infectious diseases, preventing infectious diseases, controlling and organizing health services, developing health policy, analyzing the morbidity, prevalence and mortality of infectious diseases, evaluating diagnostics and treatment, and conducting statistics and scientific research.
