Overview
In Belgium, about 35 multidisciplinary tertiary diabetic foot clinics are recognised for the treatment of diabetic foot problems. Through regular data collections, the IQED-Foot project monitors quality of care in these centres and provides individualised feedback, helping the centres to improve their quality of care.
Target population: adults (> 18 years old) with diabetic foot problems (diabetic foot ulcer Wagner grade ≥ 2 and/or active Charcot foot).
Data collection started in 2005 and is still ongoing. Linkage is possible with IQED, IQECAD, IMA and NR.
