Overview
ESPAD is a collaborative effort of independent research teams in more than forty European countries (inlcuding Austria) and the largest cross-national research project on adolescent substance use in the world.
The overall aim with the project is to repeatedly collect comparable data on substance use among 15-16 year old students in as many European countries as possible.

In order to obtain access to detailed data, you can fill in an online application that will be processed by the ESPAD coordination in cooperation with the Application Committee. The conditions and restrictions for the use of the databases are described in the same application on which you can access the application.
Contact
ESPAD is owned jointly by appointed persons in each participating country. Principal Investigators and ESPAD Contact Persons are appointed by ESPAD and are responsible for ESPAD as a whole as well as for the national part of ESPAD.
For Austria, the principal investigator is Julian Strizek.
