    This webinar will set the scene for a major programme of work on IPC and primary care and introduce the newly launched document Strengthening Infection Prevention and Control in Primary Care: A collection of existing standards, measurement and implementation resources. The latter, together with an associated ‘toolbox’ are based on existing WHO IPC guidance, standards and tools with a direct relevance for primary care. Very importantly, this webinar will also bring together successful experiences and lessons learned from the field about embedding IPC in clinical practices in primary care.
    Objectives: Present the growing case for a greater focus on IPC in primary care;
    Orient participants to new WHO resources for IPC in primary care and discuss how these can support those working in primary care to strengthen IPC; support user navigation to get the most out of the resources;
    Share experiences and lessons learned from the field about embedding IPC in clinical practices in primary care.
