The Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research (AHPSR) and the World Health Organization (WHO) Special Programme on Primary Health Care (SP-PHC), in partnership with WHO regional and country offices, have collaborated with nearly 50 in-country research teams to conduct case studies on Primary Health Care (PHC) during the COVID-19 pandemic. These country case studies have revealed fresh insights into how countries have utilized PHC strategies to guide their health system responses in times of crisis. In this event, the key findings from these case studies will be shared, providing an opportunity to disseminate valuable information derived from the pandemic response.
