The COVID-19 crisis has put huge pressure on financing mechanisms to ensure providers can treat COVID-19 cases whilst maintaining other services and remaining solvent. Financing mechanisms provide incentives in the health system which can encourage or discourage certain practices or utilization patterns. Paying or compensating providers is therefore at the heart of ensuring the sustainability of the health system and ensuring its resilience. This webinar focuses on discussing whether financing mechanisms have sustained health service delivery.
