Many countries are exploring the use of ‘vaccine passports’ to enable cross-border travel without quarantine restrictions, to reopen sport and leisure facilities for vaccinated people, or even to work in certain public- or patient-facing roles. The intention would be to manage the infection risk for the vaccinated population against the risk for the unvaccinated. This webinar focuses on the different types of vaccine passports that are being proposed and what their ethical implications and practical aspects of their introduction and application are.
