Health and welfare systems in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden) have much in common, but the responses to COVID-19 have been very different in terms of health communication, testing and tracing, physical distancing and rules for quarantine and isolation. Large differences between the Nordic countries have also been observed with regards to the surge in infections, population groups affected, excess mortality and economic impact. This webinar focuses on understanding why and how Nordic countries have responded differently to the pandemic and how these different responses have shaped different outcomes so far.
