Aim of the network/project
To establish and operate a network, comprising primary data providers (European Cancer registries) and organizations with experience in coordination, collection, quality control, standardization, processing and dissemination of data, to provide with updated and standardized indicators of cancer. The objective of EUNICE is to compile, compare, analys, interprete and disseminate information relevant for monitoring of the status of cancer burden in the European populations, planning and evaluation of cancer control measures at national and EU level.

Aim of the network/project
The EURO-URHIS Projects (1; 2006-2008 and 2; 2007-2013) aim to develop a comprehensive urban health information and knowledge system to:
- help to identify and prioritise urban health problems
- enable the monitoring of the effects of actions taken to address then
- ensure timely access information
- contribute in building advocancy, communication and education strategies
- use standardized methodology for data collection, processing and dissemination, allowing transnational comparisons and time trends analysis
